Swedish Fashion Photography 1952-2019

At Bank Hotel we love art so much that we built our own international art collection and let young promising Swedish artists decorate our rooms. Now we’re taking the next step and turning our bank vault into Bank Art Space, where continuous exhibitions will be displayed and curated by art experts CFHILL. Bank Art Space resides in the former bank vault, with a focus on the contemporary art scene, displaying both private and commercial art. The first exhibition, ‘Swedish Fashion Photography 1952–2019’ was an very popular and ambitious exhibition with 42 different photographs spanning the innocent fifties to the more robust images of the 21st century. The exhibition included works by photographers such as Mikael Jansson, Camilla Åkrans, Denise Grünstein and Robert Nettarp, with unique portraits of Alicia Vikander, Natalie Portman and many more.
