Bank Hotel has once again been awarded a MICHELIN Key in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. With this year’s recognition, Bank Hotel continues to be part of the MICHELIN Guide’s selection of hotels.
The MICHELIN Key is the MICHELIN Guide’s distinction for hotels and is awarded to hotels that stand out for qualities including architecture and design, service, personality and character, the value of the experience, and the hotel’s significance to its surroundings.
Retaining its MICHELIN Key is a meaningful recognition of Bank Hotel’s work and the experience offered to its guests. It recognises the daily work that goes into creating a considered stay, where service, design, attention to detail and personal service are an integral part of the experience.
Bank Hotel received its first MICHELIN Key in 2025, the same year the distinction was awarded for the first time in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region. In the 2026 global selection, a total of 11 hotels in Sweden hold a MICHELIN Key.
A MICHELIN Key is part of the MICHELIN Guide’s ongoing hotel selection, with assessments carried out by its inspectors. Being included in this year’s selection once again is a meaningful recognition of the work carried out every day to create a considered stay at Bank Hotel.
